Our open mics and poetry slams are the perfect spot to hear raw, unfiltered talent and share your own work. Whether you're a poet, a writer, or just a fan of spoken word, these events are a great way to meet like-minded people, get inspired, and have a blast. Join us for a night of amazing performances, cool vibes, and a welcoming community. This is your chance to be part of something special!

Verse & Vibes

First Thursdays 

An open mic at an artsy space full of good vibes, and not just because of the coffee and liquor bar ;). Open to poets, authors, writers, musicians, anyone who has talent to share. Everyone is welcome. Free event.

When: Doors open at 6:30, mic is live at 7:00

Wanna try your hand at pairing your writing with music? Or maybe you've just never had the sublime experience of hearing the fusion? Either way, we would like to invite you! Named The Resonance for the beautiful ways these artforms play off one another, we hope to show off a niche of poetry not often seen around here.

We want to see what you've got cooking! It's an open mic for spoken word artists of all kinds: poets, storytellers, and more. On July 18 we'll be featuring Jewel Rodgers in celebration of her stellar performance at the Blackberry Peach National Poetry Slam and her stellar self in general! Please come join us in listening to, sharing, and loving the spoken word.
