Slam Under the Sun

We have room for 18 spoken word poets to take the stage and showcase their talent at the biggest festival of the summer. 

The winner of the Slam will recieve a cash prize and the top three will recieve a gift from the Summer Arts Festival. The judges will be selected from the audience.

Reserve your spot now, then meet us at the Gazebo in the park at 1:00p to get in the schedule. 

Any poet who do not check-in by 1:30 on the day of the event will loose their spot. 

Each poet will have 3 minutes.  

All poems must be original work, written by the poet. Please remember this is a public event and children may be in the audience. Vulgar or offensive language of any sort will not be accepted.
