Step 1: Log into the website by clicking the "Log In" text in the upper left corner.
Step 2: Click the “Log In” text at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: You need to sign in the same way that you created your NPS account. If you set up your account via a Facebook or Google account, then log in the same way and skip ahead to the next page. If you created a unique password when you signed up, then choose the “Log in with Email” option and continue to step 4.
Step 4: Type in your email and password and click “Log In.”
You will be able to tell if you are logged into the website, because it will show your photo (if you uploaded one) instead of the “Log In” text.
Step 5: Now that you are logged in, you can navigate to the class you want to sign up for. The easiest way to sign up is to hover your mouse over "Events" in the menu bar at the top of the page (circled above), then click on "Register for Events."
Step 6: It will take you to the "Upcoming Events" page. From this page, click on the "RSVP" button for the event you want to attend.
You can also click on “Events” to bring up the “Writing Classes & Workshops” page. From here, click on “Register Here” or “RSVP Here.” This will take you to the “Upcoming Events” page. As shown above, click on the appropriate “RSVP” button.
Step 7: On the event page, click on the “RSVP” button again.
Yes, I know it is a pain to click RSVP multiple times. It’s a function of the website that we poets can’t figure out how to change. Please bear with us.
Step 8: Now you will see the page with your membership offer. Change the quantity of your tickets to “1” and hit the “Checkout” button. You can type in more than one ticket, but it will charge you for the additional tickets.
You are now done and registered. You will be receiving a “ticket” in your email with the Zoom link and passcodes.
